In a heart-wrenching incident on SH-55 in Begusarai, a motorcyclist’s dream of returning from a joyous wedding celebration shattered. A speeding truck veered into their path, resulting in the untimely deaths of two young lives, Aman Kumar, 25, and his brother Shivam Kumar, just 18.
Begusarai: Two youths died when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle on SH-55 under Begusarai mufassil police station area on Monday morning. The incident took place between Khamhar and Mohanpur villages while the two were returning from a wedding reception at Barauni Refinery township. Police said the victims were identified as Aman Kumar (25) and Shivam Kumar (18), both residents of Manjhaul village under the same police station.Manjhaul panchayat-3 mukhiya Rajesh Kumar said, “More than a dozen co-villagers, riding seven bikes, were accompanying them while on way back to home. However, as soon as the two reached near Banduar village turn the accident took place. They died on the spot.” Rajesh said Aman was the son of the former Manjhaul-3 panchayat mukhiya, Neelam Devi.
